Born and raised in Chilliwack, soprano Sarah Anderson is a recent graduate of Chilliwack Senior Secondary. A proud member of the Chilliwack Symphony Chorus, Sarah was featured as second soprano soloist in Handel’s Dixit Dominus. She was also a chorus member in the Chilliwack Opera Troupe’s inaugural production of the Pirates of Penzance.
Singing has taken her in many directions- onstage in musicals, in concert with Belle Voci, in Christmas services, and, of course, in singing the national anthem. However, classical voice is dearest to her heart. She was awarded the Sylvia Horricks Bursary and the Florence Tunbridge Trophy for performances at the Chilliwack Lions Music and Dance Festival. This also led to a trip to Penticton for the 2014 Provincial Festival.
Sarah is thrilled to be a part of this performance, and she hopes you enjoy it as much as she does!
